Simcha
Fellowship
As you know, we have been praying for a very long
time for G-d to bring those who do not want their own agenda, but want to
plug-in to what they see Him doing in our midst. G-d intends to expand our
tents and we are growing in quality!
The way we will continue to grow is to develop
relationships with one another. Our goal here at Kerem El is to build
mishpucha/family.
Therefore, we have established Simcha Fellowship. On
the first Saturday night of each month, after Shabbat Rishon, we are asking you to begin to
develop relationship with those in our congregation that you do not know
well. Spend time person-to-person and family-to-family.
All of you have new directories and addendum with
phone numbers of those in Kerem El. Call folks and make arrangements to
get together on Simcha Fellowship night. If you see a visitor, make a
"date" with them for Simcha Fellowship night and get to know them better,
too.
You will NOT have a Bible study on these Simcha
Fellowship nights. You will NOT be required to "witness" on these Simcha
Fellowship nights. And, unless you choose to include it in your individual
fellowship time, you will NOT have a formal Havdala ceremony on these
Simcha Fellowship nights. There are many activities and ideas of
what-to-do and what to talk about. You may share a meal, play board games
or cards, look at photo albums, have conversations and fun!
