FROM OUR
MISHPOCHA
DECEMBER,
2006
Kerem El has been very busy this past year with various activities. In
March we held a Dance Symposium lead by Arlene Klindworth. Arlene is the
dance leader at
Aron Ha Kodesh in
Fort Lauderdale.
G-d wants us to worship him with our whole being. “Worshipful Dancing” is
a way of doing this. All those who attended were very blessed. Our dance
team is now blessing the Lo-d not only in our services, but also in other
congregations that have invited them. A second symposium was held later
this year with the purpose of teaching how to choreograph a dance. This
has further equipped our team to use “Worshipful Dancing” during our
services.
At our Passover Seder this year matzo ball soup was served to about 180
people coming from the communities of Stuart to Vero Beach, Florida.
Shavuot was celebrated with a service at the Synagogue, a family over
night camp-out and the wonderful picnic we all enjoyed the following day.
It was requested that we have another one for Succoth---and so we did.
The High Holy Day services were awesome! Tashleek was at a beautiful park
with a flowing river. One can only imagine the serenity and closeness of
G-d’s presence as we prayed together that day.
The purchase of our Sukkah was one 0f the highlights of this past year.
We all gathered together for the blessings with the etrog and the lulav,
along with good fellowship.
Simchat Torah was a very memorable time for all of us at
Kerem El. We received the balance we needed to purchase our Torah. Our
Torah dedication will be December 9th. We are so blessed and
grateful to all our congregational members who have had the vision for
this to happen.
There are a lot of us preparing to go to the annual MJAA S. E. Regional
Conference in Orlando. We look forward to the anointed teaching and music
that will be enjoyed by all who attend. The Conference affords us a time
of learning, praising the L-rd and having very special fellowship with
each other.
Kerem El has already prepared the calendar of events
for January. The year ahead is going to enrich our blessings as we go
forward worshiping and praising the name of Yeshua.
Shalom,
Rifkah
