Mathew 5:33-37
G-d’s Marriage House
HaShem
commands Moses to build a Mishkan (sanctuary), and supplies him with
detailed instructions. G-d’s children are asked to contribute precious
metals and stones, fabrics, oils and spices.
Ex. 25
G-d
spoke to Moses and the children of Israel: Let them give to me a portion
to build My house. Silver, copper, gold, wood, animal skins are all
acceptable.
This
was to be a resting place for G-d’s presence.
The
rest of Exodus, with the exception of the Golden Calf dissertation, is
related to the preparation and construction of the Mishkan, dwelling place
for G-d.
The
construction of the Tabernacle was made necessary as a central place of
worship. Ideally, no sanctuary was needed since the time of Israel’s
marriage at Mt. Sinai because the Shechinah rested upon the Mountain and
would have rested upon them if they did not fear and reject His presence.

A
picture of Messiah at work
Speaks
of Yeshua in His earthly form, G-d’s Shechinah dwelt with men on earth.
As
G-d’s physical temple was a Mishkan (dwelling place) it became a house for
divine marriage.
The
Bridegroom desiring His bride to come and fellowship intimately with Him.
G-d
designed a way for us to approach Him.
The
Mishkan is the picture of the way of salvation provided by the Messiah who
entered the most holy place once and for all by His own blood, having
obtained eternal redemption (Heb 9:12).
